Latin I
We went over the translation of the story in Chapter One. Students wrote out the translation, double-spaced, and handed it in. We worked on posters illustrating the mottoes about Rome. I urged everyone to make flashcards for new vocabulary!

No assignment for Friday.

Latin II
We practiced the conjugations of sum and possum, present and imperfect tenses. Small groups worked on chapter summaries of chapters 8-13 and presented them.

Assignment for Friday: summarize chapter 14, in Latin, with a minimum of 5 sentences.
