Latin I:
If you are new to quia.com and haven't yet used the on-line exercises, here is a link to the chapter 4/5 folder. There are vocabulary activities and a couple of others. Stop by later this weekend, as I will be putting more practice activities into this folder! Click here for that link.

Latin I:
There is no homework until the TEST next FRIDAY! Use this time to review your study guide and to learn vocabulary. REreading the stories in chapters 4 and 5 will help you with the translation part of the test. You can use the vocabulary handouts to make flashcards for yourself - find the words that are tricky to remember and put the English on one side, the Latin on the other. A few minutes (10 or less) with them every day will yield amazing results!!!

There is a test next Wednesday on chapters 18 & 19. Main areas to study: 3rd declension adjectives, perfect tense forms (3rd person only) and vocabulary. Click here for the vocabulary handouts for chapters 18 & 19.

Latin I:
We will have a chapter test next Friday on chapters 4 & 5. I will give you more specific information this Wednesday.
Homework for Wednesday: 5h (handout). You need to do 4 things:
1)read story
2) underline or circle infinitive forms of verbs
3) put a small DO over each direct object. Remember: not ALL nouns ending with -m are direct objects! If they come right after prepositions, they are part of a prepositional phrase.
4)answer the questions in complete Latin sentences.
Latin II:
